I have a home, but I need a name....

Well I'm really reaching here for something to post.....We have this darling giraffe, from Africa, that our friends the Brocks gave to us. He stands proudly in our home and Randy thought he needed just a little more class, so he gave the little guy one of his very own bow ties. Now I seem to think the giraffe needs a name. I know I have SO many people watching my blog, I am sure I will be overwhelmed with suggestions!!! Can't wait!! Get those names sent in now!!

Random News Posts....

February 8, 2008 Randy and I celebrated our anniversary.....34 years!! He is always so thoughtful, this year I came home to this beautiful stained glass "love birds" hanging on our door going out to our deck! It is so fun to see whenever I'm in the kitchen, I love the views from our home, and now when I see these love birds I am reminded of a day 34 years ago when we both said "yes"! Can I just say we have the most terrific kids in the whole world!! They always remember those special days and our anniversary was no exception. They pooled their resources and got us this beautiful plant (they know I can only keep indoor green plants alive for just so long!) We really needed a spot of green on our table! Suni delivered it to my office on Friday, what an unexpected treat (yes, I got a little teary eyed ((so what's new!)) The girls each posted a tribute to us on their blogs, that was a great surprise and yes, more tears!! We are so proud of each one of you, your spouses, your boy friend and your children and are so blessed to be your mom, dad, Papa Randall and Nana Sue and friend!! Thank you for your love and thoughtfulness everyday!!Another milestone, our darling Kaylee girl turned 7 on February 8, 2008! What a terrific celebration she was able to have with her family. (if I knew how to throw in a link to Marisa's blog I would....hey try this... http://www.ermakaluso.blogspot.com/ and you can read all about it!!) I talk to Kaylee occasionally on the phone. Just the other day after a brief conversation, I said to Marisa "Wow, when did she grow up!!" She is a great big sister and keeps her folks on their toes with her insightful questions and experiences in first grade!! Happy, happy birthday Kaylee bug, we love you too much!!

WATCH OUT DAVID LETTERMAN...!!!
Yes kids, this is your dad! He was asked to be the MC at the Bank's winter party last night. He did a terrific job, only embarassed me a couple of times, made a few jokes and kept the evening rolling on in a very punctual way!! (I think he will keep his day job at the bank - he loves it there!!)
