Our sweet Kaylee turned 8 on February 8 and is she ever a doll! Here she is this past Christmas in her new (and large!) new jammies - with her darling signature smile!!
Kaylee LOVES all animals, but I think she has a special spot in her heart for dogs. Here she is with our sweet Mable dog, giving her a kiss, well what else would you expect a dog lover to do!!
Can you see the look of concern in her darling blue eyes?? She is very curious and wants to know EXACTLY what's going on at all times - so you can imagine what she must be thinking when Grandma Shirley came at her with those really sharp scissors!!
Here she is with her ever faithful Buckets (just before the hair cut). This darling pup has helped Kaylee through thick and thin and something tells me she may still have buckets for at least another 17 years or so!!
Here we go 8 wonderful things I know and love about my Kaylee Girl:
1. She loves to talk, she can strike up a conversation with anyone and really enjoys finding out about other people and what they are doing and what they think. This would also mean she is someone who makes friends easily!
2. She loves to write stories and songs, she can also memorize and then perform her works of art!! This would also mean she has a great imagination!
3. She is a terrific big sister to Lucy and Sofi, she is pretty patient with them and likes to play house and school with them too! This would also mean she knows how important her family is!
4. She is so athletic, she rides a motorcycle, plays soccer, tumbles, dances, jumps on the tramp and rides her bike and scooter! This would also mean she is super coordinated!!
5. She is absolutely darling with her bright blue eyes, cute freckles and incredible smile! This would also means she is VERY photogenic!
6. She is so considerate, especially when I visit, she is polite and concerned about how I am doing! This also means she cares a lot about others feelings!
7. She so totally loves animals~all of them and she even struggles through with allergies! This also means she is getting prepared to have even more pets of her own!
8. She has a sweet testimony, she loves Heavenly Father and has had some wonderful experiences where her prayers have been answered! This means she is a child with great faith!
Kaylee talked at an early age and some of the things she said just stuck. One of the phrases was "I love you too much". This is something I say a lot and remember her saying it to me on the phone when she would call just to say "hi".
She is growing into a super young lady, she is excited to be baptized in a couple of weeks and we are excited to celebrate this special occasion with her.
So Kaylee, happy, happy birthday! We love you too much!!
